Circle of Giving 2020 first began as Helping Families in Need 2020 when Kelly responded to requests for help on a Facebook COVID information page. Specifically, donors were asked to send groceries to families in need, and Kelly answered their call. Following her lead, Aimee responded to another family and provided a gift card. Upon reflection, Kelly and Aimee realized that, in addition to sending cards to towns zip codes away, they could also consider supporting their surrounding communities. In one afternoon, Helping Families in Need 2020 was officially born.
Three years later their fundraising efforts and establish partnerships with local businesses as we attempt to ensure local families are assisted. While we work towards establishing our non-profit status, your support is greatly appreciated. Our goal is to execute the following:
• Work collaboratively with Delaware County, PA area non-profit organizations on behalf of families in need.
• Facilitate community members requesting help through their schools.
• Fundraise on behalf of these families in need so we can support them throughout these challenging and unprecedented times.
We greatly appreciate the support of our community, and we look forward to forging more relationships with community organizations in the future.
On April 26, 2020 Aimee and Kelly announced a new name: Circle of Giving 2020.
